May 12, 2023, Corona, Ca.- Future FC Women's Executive Director and Head Coach, Shayon Jalayer, has announced that Future FC Women will be working with Refuge Athletics, located in Corona, Ca. for their Strength and Conditioning needs.

On the partnership, Jalayer said, "It is hugely important as an organization that we offer our players the best opportunities to continue their development and one of the areas of importance to us, is providing a platform where our players can work with a knowledgable coach, work on their specific needs and above all be in a professional and safe environment."

Refuge Athletics Owner and Head Strength Coach, Liz Turley, has been involved with Strength Training for 32 years and has competed and won Bodybuilding competitions both locally and nationally, earning 2 overall titles.  She has coached athletes of all ages since 2013 and currently holds a ISSA CPT and a CPPS Level 1 Strength Coach Certification and is studying for her CPPS Level 2.

"As a Future FC Women's partner we look to provide a safe, clean, high quality space for the athletes to receive individualized training programs, guidance, encouragement and support for their strength and conditioning needs and goals," said Liz Turley.

Current Future FC Women's players Haley Clark (Cal State L.A.) and Kamdyn Jalayer (UNLV commit) have seen the benefits. Clark commenting on her time with Coach Turley and Refuge said, "Training at Refuge and Coach Liz has genuinely transformed me into a a better athlete and person.  I know that every time I step into the gym I'm getting stronger physically and mentally.  I always feel supported and motivated by Liz and the other athletes I work with."

Kamdyn Jalayer added, "Coach Liz truly cares about us and what our goals are as people and as athletes and does her best to make it all happen. In the 8 months I've become quicker, stronger and genuinely see the change in myself as an athlete."
